Nbs `07-`08

Hello, long time lurker first time poster.

 

 

Just ordered an `08 Sierra on Monday and have been curious of a few things regarding accessories for the `07 - `08 GMT 900's...

 

Where have you been finding them, besides scattered here and there all over the `net?

(I've heard they are few and far between as it is) Has anyone found, for the most part, a one stop shop?

 

What, in your opinion, has been the best accessory/ mod you have added to your NBS `07-`08?

What, in your opinion, has been the best accessory/ mod you have added to your NBS `07-`08?

 

Here's my list:

 

Dealer installed:

1. Access Brand Tonneau cover.

2. Line-X

3. GM 6" Oval Chrome-over-Stainless step bars.

4. GM Remote start.

5. GM Chrome Hood deflector.

 

I installed:

 

1. WeatherTech floor liners (HIGHLY recommend).

2. Putco chrome mirror covers (full, not half).

3. Ziebart 32% window tint on front doors.

4. Carriageworks aluminum Billet grill.

5. Luverne stainless steel/rubber mud flaps. (Very nice!!!)

6. GMPP Cold Air Intake.

 

Next:

 

1. Exhaust upgrade, not sure yet which, probably just a Magnaflow muffler. Not for sound, rather for improved flow to enhance my CAI and tune.

2. Performance Tune, to improve power and throttle response and get rid of TM. To be done by local professional.

3. Upgraded MAF sensor (to compliment tune and intake).

4. Putco Stainless Steel bed rails.

 

I think that's it...until I think of more.

The best place to find accessories is on the net. And if you shop around you will find the best price on what ever your looking for there are a few one stop shops but wont always have a better price than maybe one vendor who has one specific piece you looking for. As for my favorite mod so far on my new truck is the exhaust, or the grille. The grille changed the front end dramatically and the exhuast made it sound awesome aswell as look awesome too.

hey Jeff,

 

thx for your input on the 6' ovals...........first set came with UPS installed dents..........went back, and new ones came yesterday.

installed them today and wife loves em.........they look great.
