Today is my 20th birthday today and i've been trying to decide what to buy! because i want to buy something for the Z71 TODAY , what should i buy!??!?

i want :

ss grill guard

ss nerf bars(kinda)

or

intake...

let me know what you think?!

Grille guard.

I don't like the nerf bars and intakes are too pricey for me.

If you are going by stuff on the list, I would say go for the intake. For me I can have a totally stock looking truck, but as long as I know I can blow your doors off I don't really care. Oh yeah and happy birthday!!

lol yeah i hear ya!! i just like the unique look, because everybody around here has a stock z71 rado, but nobodys got intake, tune, nerf/grill guard so it would be nice to stick out, plus i want to add a little bit more chrome to her to get my gunmetal gray paintchip to really SHINE!!!

I totally and completely understand. It almost seems as around here if you have a truck you either have a crew cab diesel or you have an extended cab Z71. But nobody around here has the color I have, nor the truck I have.

i finally made my decision

just bought a s/s grill guard, and a set of s/s nerf bars for my z71... YYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!

what i really want is a new exhaust, but dont really have the $$ with school and all my toys , but we'll see, my cousins friend owns a custom exhaust shop and said he'd give me a good price on a new system, but as far as small manageable mod's, i'm definately painting my bowtie black when i get the chance, and getting some new z71 decals, kind of tired of my camo ones!!!

and i will definately post pics the minute i install all the goodies

do you have the pics of the camo Z71 in the Darkroom? I never noticed it. I'm on dialup right now so it takes forever for pics to load. That is why I'm asking and not looking.

you have one of the better ones I've seen. Ones like you have that look almost like one continuous piece of camo that had spaces cut out look better than the ones that are just like a pattern. Kind of like they take the same piece and continue to make shapes out of it.

That bright grey outline doesn't look like it contrasts too well with your rig. It kinda "kills the vibe". It would look awesome if it were either a darker shade of grey or just an all camo piece.
