Grease Coupler Issue

I just got a right angle grease coupler for the 11th zerk. When I try to use it on any zerk, the grease just oozes out around it instead of going into the zerk. What am I doing wrong ?

I hate to say this because it will sound like the obvious, but it simply is not locking on to the zerk. Try turning your wheels all the way to the right and see if you can get to it any better. I do this and use a regular coupler with a 18" hose. I simply go straight up with the hose, bend it and come back down on the zerk. I have to hold the coupler on the zerk with one hand while pumping grease with the pistol grip style gun with the other.
