Oem Molded Mud Gaurds

The dealer called this morning and I can pick up my OEM chevy molded mud gaurds. I drive a lot in cottage country on gravel roads is why I want them. My question is has anyone installed them? I've got the factory fender flares, and the parts guy told me there will be holes on the fenders for them to bolt right up, but I don't feel any on the metal behind the plastic of the flares? Maybe they just bolt up into the fender flare holes already there?

I'm going to find out one way or another this afternoon, but thought I'd ask ahead of time in case someone else has done this. I just hope I don't have to do any drilling.

Thanks.

Well I picked them up today and it looks like I just use the existing fender flare holes and bottom hex bolt location. They include in the kits some slip on retainers and a push in nylon plug for the front guards. So its just a matter of taking the fender flares off, hopefully with the plastic plugs keeping their structural integrity and not snapping off. Good luck with that I'm guessing. Anyways, seems straight forward enough. Will post some pics when I'm done.

Correction:

They actually go over top of the fender flares. Once I got them outside to the truck it's obvious they bolt over top. And where the new bolts replace the plastic plugs there are indents on the plastic slots on the fender flares to accomodate.

will update with pics when done.

Pics of the mud guards installed. About an hour to install all 4. They recommend removing the rear tires to install, however with a rachet and screwdriver bit there is no need. Pretty easy to do once you get them out of the box and size up the job.

Will post pics.

Hey, those blend in pretty well and look good installed. Too bad they have to add a bowtie to everything. Thanks for the pics. I kept looking at that ginormous sig pic trying to see if you had put them on yet.
