75,000 Mile Service Comming Up

HI,

The 2001 Silverado I just bought is just about due for a 75k service, the previous owner has had all the scheduled service done at his local dealer so everything is current. The scheduled items are to check front and rear axle for fluid level and change the allison trans fluid and filter.

Any sugestions for additional things to do at this mileage or things to look for.

Get your front end checked, ball joints, tie rods etc.

I'd look at cleaning your TB. and maybe yout MAF sensor. Plugs and wires should also be changed, depending on if they were previously changed, I bought my truck with 75K KM on it and I had a bad plug wire, and plugs, even though they say they will last for 100K miles.
