Crank And Cam Pattern On 8.1 Vortec

Hi All.

 

I am desperately trying to find out what the cam and crank output pattern is on a GM 8100 Vortec.

I know that it is a re-engineered chevy big block, and most of these use the 24-2, with a single tooth cam.

 

Can you tell me if this is correct for the Vortec 8.1? Does it use the same crankshaft reluctor wheel as the LS1/2 etc?

You are correct crank has 24 pluses every 2 revolution and cam have 2 pluses every 2 revolutions
