Black Plastic Trim

Black plastic exterior trim. Most of it is hard plastic some seems like rubber.

I think I have tried everything.

The older the truck the harder it seems to keep the plastic looking like new. Some of the products seem oily. All seem to wear off in a few weeks.

What products do people use today on the black exterior plastic?

I used the ICE wax and then used the ICE detail spray to take it off. The parts look like I just bought them. It gave a nice shine to the whole truck. I really like it because you can use it in direct sunlight and it works the same.

Most of you know I am a Duragloss user and most of their products are great and a few are not so great. Their Rubber Bumper and Flat Black Dressing (part # 271) is the best exterior dressing that I have used. It is oily but will not wash off in the rain or even streak like some of the interior dressings do. My Dodge van bumpers are all gray plastic and the Duragloss keeps them looking really good. Of course it will wash off with a couple of washings but this is to be expected.
