Blower Control

I have a 2003 2500HD Sierra, my sons friend is a mech. and wanted to show how easy it is to remove the heat/AC blower unit. Unfortunanly he did'nt get back in right and the next time I turned the blower on it did'nt come on and I smelt something burning. So now I dont have the first 2 speeds on the blower. Is there a fuse or is it a resistor card? thanks for any help with this as winter is fast approaching!!

There is a blower motor resistor located under the dash that will cause your condition.

Where exactly is it under the dash? My fan is only working on high and I couldn't get an answer on another thread?

Thank you Ryan for your reply to my question,as 99 asked can you be a little more specific where under the dash the resistor is? Thanks again for the help.
