Sierra All-terrain

I got out of class early last week and decided to pick up a 2008 Sierra book so I can keep dreaming. Anyway, I picked one up and of course the salesguy was on me in an instant. So I was flipping through it as he was blabbing to me to buy now etc etc and I noticed GMC has the new All-Terrain Sierra model. I got this info card and I am just kind of curious about it.

 

- It has Rancho shocks (never driven a truck w/ any other shocks besides factory ones), so how are those? How does the truck ride with them?

- 18" chrome wheels (Look good in the picture)

- Chrome grille (I like it, from the picture at least)

- NO WOOD!!! Personally, I hated the wood, so now it has the brushed metal inside

- 2 tone color seats (Really sharp looking)

- Painted mirrors, door handles, and more.

- Special floor mats and gauge cluster (maybe cool in person?)

- And some really cool "All Terrain" badges

 

So what do you guys think? Anyone have one yet and like it? Anyone looking at buying one? My dealer said they would have some in a week so I never saw one in person. It looks pretty cool, but I just wonder how much it will cost.

The "Rancho" shocks probably aren't really Rancho shocks...Like on Ford's FX4 package, the shocks are SUPPOSEDLY Ranchos but they're more like knockoffs made cheaper than the actual thing.

I have seen pictures, the upgrades look cool, but that is as muck as I have seen.

yeah i just picked up a brochure too, that looks like a cool package, pretty pricey according to the GMC site, i believe it comes pretty well loaded. they should offer that grill as an option on all trucks!!!

No its not, i went looking over the weekend and the 2500's have taller grilles, at first glance you dont really notice until you get close then you cant miss it

$2500 seems a little too steep for me. You are getting two tone leather, some Rancho Shocks, and a spiffy decal. The Rancho shocks are no more than $400 a set. The leather is cool, but you can get a Katskinz kit for $700. Decals are $15. If the price was around $1200, I would do it.

Dealer Invoice 1891.00 price, and you forget the chrome 18 wheels , door sills, and embrodied mats.
