Show Me Your Tips!

Had my flowie super 44 installed today, its loud and clips are to follow as soon as I can get a camera. I have it exiting behind the rear wheels, but I don't know what Kind of tip I want to finish it off with.

Can you guys pop up some pics of tips you used, preferably side profiles showing the opening.

Once I get my 44s installed i'm getting 3" in 4" out Magnaflow tips, 15 degree rolled edge tips. Entire system is 3" with 4" tips 12" long. & i'm getting it over the axle and side exit, hopefully it will look stock, coming out side exit but not off to the direct sides, but sorta at the sides. I think it will look very good, will match the rear bumper, front bumper, and nerf bars nicely., and will look better than non rolled 45 degree cut tips.

I'll snap a picture of what I have done later today hopefully.

I have 2.5" dual out 3" single in. Its coming out in the stock location but on both sides, some people cant even tell its different by just looking.

I was looking at something similar to that tip, but it was 2.5" slip on with a rolled edge. I believe it was 12" long, but it just slid right over the existing pipe and welded at the back. 2.5" ID all the way, But I think I want a flared tip like the one you have in the pic there.

Gotta go to some crappy store and just try some out see what looks right, than go get good stainless ones. I also think I am powder coating them satin black.

heres my rear of truck. i have cherry bomb muffler. 3" single in / 2 1/2" dual out .

Tips are stainless 2.5" in 3.5" out. they are 18 inches long i think...Tips are rolled with slant cut... sorry bout the pics.. CELL PHONE...

The 44 sounds awesome...I'll get a clip as soon as I can get a lend of my buddy's camera.

Its not crackly or any excessive popping, and it only drones on the change to 3rd/4th when your accelerating and the throttle is still open more than it would be at cruise.

At WOT it rumbles pretty good.

Thanks Chess..those actually look like what I am thinking about going with. My exhaust is a side exit, and I think the slant cut will look best. those have a nice slant...I just want to avoid the 45* cut...

Like the ones you have or the ones posted by WS6_Guy.

Now I have some photo shopping to do I guess.

CENWAS.. THose corsa tips look good.

But every corsa tip i have ever seen is like 5 inches long?? correct me if im wrong..

But i dont wanna see the exhaust pipes running to the tip. thats the whole point of a tip is to hide the exhaust and make it look good.

Thats the same pic I used to show the guys how I wanted the exhaust routed...LOL

Corsa was my other choice for the exhaust. I just don't want to put on a tip now with another manufacturer logo on it. Flowmaster has some pretty @$$ lookkin tips, So its lookin like generic or the Chevy tips.

I'm leaning toward the ones chess and WS6 posted. But if these Chevy's can be welded on...I may go with these.

The only problem with that one is that I am not sure if it can be welded on or has to use the clamp.

im sure they could be welded on. I also looked at those gm tips, but d**n are they expensive $$$. i went with generic ones. i wanted the longest ones the exhaust shop had. i think i paid 60$ for both of them.

Yeah, I do like those man, but they aren't cheep for sure.

The ones you have are 3.5" right? I'm gonna paste them on the truck and see what they look like...

This is how my exhaust is now. There is about 12" of pipe that can be cut off after the 90* bend. I would like to have a tip that goes right to the bend. I am going to paint the exhaust black to preserve it, and hide it. I was also looking at powder coating the tips black. Not sure though. The tips will match the bumpers and trim pieces on the doors...(I'm getting the Serria ones). There nothing wron with a little bling on the truck I Guess....LOL

BTW...yout truck looks awesome Cody.

I think the chrome tips will look good. Idk bout black? never seen them before. But im sure whichever you choose it will definately make it look better.
