I think that is a good price for a t304 SS exhaust. Im not a single out fan but you might be. I say go for it. Volant makes a great system for diesels so Im guessing its the same for gassers.

oh and T304 is probably the best metal youll find for exhaust. I believe another SS exhaust is T4xx? which doesnt put on a shine as well as the 304. The aluminzed systems are like a 600 or something.

If your truck is the one in your avatar I would definitely research and find a quality exhaust. I would go with something simple like that Volant or a Corsa.

Yeah that's my truck in my avatar at the dealer . My truck switches from v8 to v4 when I don't need power and I was wondering does it sound different when its in 4 cylinder mode?

OEM= Original Equipment Manufacturer.

 

4cyl does get loud and drone with some exhausts.

Make sure which body style it's for. It's impossible to tell from the ad whether or not it's for an 07 classic or an 07 NBS. THen call Volant. If they want just a bit more $ buy it from them. They may well match the ebay price and if you have a problem you will be dealing with the manufacturer. I bought my Corsa exhaust from Corsa - they matched price, shipped free to Montana, and I know that I can always get help when I need it from them. I've been burned on the internet with non-authorized resellers, and warranty in that case is always a hassle at best, a disaster at worst.

I had my eye on this exhaust good price for 304 and I like the single look. I was wondering if it's a full 3" exhaust though.

I gave $433 (on sale) for an all stainless Magnaflow #16741 system from allexhaust.com. Dual rear exit, and it sounds great. Shop around. You can find better for less.

Yes , you can definitely hear when the Active Fuel Management kicks in. Any aftermarket "straight through" type muffler is going to be more noticeable. I'm not sure what it sounds like to others on the street though.
