Which Programmer/tuner

I have noticed that many have the Edge Evo installed on their 2007 truck, since I have a 2006, I did not find an option to get an Evo since I dont have the duramax. At this point, my only options (that I am considering at this point) is the Hypertech Max programmer and the Superchips Flashpaq Tuner. One of the bigger things that I am looking for is tuning the transmission before I install a shift kit. Does anyone has any thoughts on these two or has a different recommendation?

I agree, once I get back from Iraq and slap on a Supercharger and beef the tranny and lift this thing Ill be getting rid of the evo (or using just for guages) and getting a custom tuned pcm for my set up. That is your best option and will save you money too.

Then it is time for a custom tuned PCM....I dont want to do this just yet (still have the base warranty on the truck), did a search here and nothing came up that indicated a really good custom PCM, anybody wish to show me the light on this one?

You may want to get a Diablo Sport till your warranty runs out, I'm pretty sure they make one for your truck, they seem to get better reviews than SuperChips (and I keep reading HyperTech is crap), that way you can return the truck to stock if you need it serviced.
