Am I Crazy?

I filled up with 92 Octane yesterday and loaded EXtreme tune and noticed the power (after about 5 miles). I ran 7.42 compared to the 8.03 I ran with the Economy and 87 Octane. Well after having some fun with this tune, I switched back to Economy for normal driving. I have yet to notice a power decrease since going back. It seems that with 91+ and Economy it runs almost as quick as the Extreme. I ran a 7.48 with the economy tune and premium fuel. Maybe Im just nuts, but I will admit I love the throttle response and power!

The economy tune only becomes an economy when you take your foot out of it. It makes sense that any tune will take advantage of premium fuel.

I understand the pedal is the key to economy tune, but if leave it on Extreme and drive like my wife will I get the same benefits? Just wondering thats all.

Don't worry about the mileage, just enjoy the fact that your 4.8 now runs quicker than a stock Vmax...Crewcab anyway. I don't think mine would have run mid 7's stock. Running low-mid 6's now though.
