Stalling Issue W/ 03 Sierra, Please Help

i bought a 2003 1500 model sierra used with 150,000 miles on it. when i am in low points of the city (only in certan spots) the vehicle idol falls when i come to a stop. the battery light comes on as it should when a vehicle stalls but i get no check engine light. so i cant get a diognostic done... its an odd issue and there realy isnt too much to it. it just stops and i start right back up. no one has been able to help me.

 

all one guy was able to tell me is that the truck is idoling too low and he didnt know how to go about adjusting it nor did he know the specs (what the idol needs to be at) it is currently at about 500 rpms. if anyone has any info i would realy appriciate it

Clean the throttle body.

My guess would be to clean and tighten the battery cables, based on a somewhat similar scenerio where that was my problem.

second that, clean the T body!!! i wouldnt use carb clean, just wipe it with a rag(dry). chemicles can take off the finish that makes the air flow smoother.
