Which Rotors And Pads?

Recommended Posts

It turns out that its time for all new brakes on my truck... I wish I had the money to afford slotted and drilled stainless rotors, but I don't. I think I am decided on Raybestos Professional grade rotors, and pro grade ceramic pads. From what I could find, they seemed to be the best reasonably priced brakes out there. If I only get front rotors, and pads the whole way around it will come to $292, but if I go for all 4 rotors it will be $432. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to try 2 rotors, because my rears are still in good shape. Does this sound like a decent set up?

Have you checked buybrakes.com? I found them to have the best overall prices when it comes to a complete setup. Also customer service is excellent, if you can't find something call them and they will see if maybe it is listed on the website and get it to you.

Personally save up the little bit more money you would need and get the powerslot rotors with hawk pads. I have noticed, and also my wife, what a big difference my truck now has with that setup. I did all four tires this past summer for about $600.

Have a nice day.
