pritchard26 Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Where can I find a leveling kit so I can bring the A@# end of my truck down? Ash
pcgeary1973 Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 You can take the blocks out of the rear Why bring the rear down.....bring the front up. Roughcountry has a leveling kit that is reasonably priced.
jrrod2004 Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 You can take the blocks out of the rear http://www.djmsuspension.com/ or http://www.summitracing.com or http://www.autoanything.com/suspension%2Dsystems/, there are alot more if you google drop kits
svensk Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 Where can I find a leveling kit so I can bring the A@# end of my truck down? Ash I wouldn't touch it. that's how the truck was designed to ride and if you change it the ride quality will be changed. Your back end will also sag if you load anything in there (or actually use it has a truck).

Ok, IF I was to drop the rear, what would the truck actually do since I have leaf helpers installed already?

I also just bought a 17' travel trailer and was worried if the truck would sag. It does'nt. The only thing is I think I should lift the trailer to match the truck.

Because otherwise your truck dosnt have the blocks in the rear like the NBS. Also your load shouldnt sag any more than it would with blocks, It's the same change in height, just lower, It's not like removing a leaf where you would lose payload capabilities. Still the same leaves. In fact I could be wrong but I would imagine it would be the same thing with drop shackles since your not changing the leaves... Removing the blocks is not the same as slamming your truck.
