First Race!

First off I know it's wrong to street race. Just had my first race tonight A Hemi ram What a P.O.S.!!! From a stoplight we left together and he kept gettin on it, and slowing down, so I nodded to him and he held up 3 fingers and started to count, one, two, and that little b***h gets on it before the third finger came up!! !!!! So I floorboard it and instantly catch up. By the time mine shifted to second I was about a bumper ahead. By third, half a truck and pulling hard! As I was walking away from him I could still hear that annoying Dodge exhaust just wailing! Granted his was a crew cab 4X4 and mine is a 2WD RCSB, but he has a HEMI!!! As we pulled in my apartment complex I rolled down my window to see if he wanted to go again but he turned the other way and wouldn't look at me

The Hemi is only a name anymore and not the legendary 426. Smoke 'em if you can!

Yup the old 426 motor was a beast and way ahead of its time back then but now yer right there just a name and a insult to the old hemi.

Just because you beat a truck that weighs over a ton more, and was a 4x4 doesn't mean you need to call him names, or use those words on the forum.

Mark does have a little bit of a point. What's the point in being a winner if you can't show class and respect? Those kinda guys usually get booed at the track. But you're just excited, I bet I probably would be too. That's all I'm gonna say (and do for that matter) about it.

 

 

 

But everybody else has hit it on the head, Hemi's just a name these days. The only thing good decent namesake that still holds value in the Dodge camp is Cummins.

Like I said "Granted his was a crew cab 4X4 and mine is a 2WD RCSB". And I called him that because if you're goning to cheat, thats what you are. maybe I should have called him a punk.
