Got me a new (old) truck, a couple of weeks ago, it's a '65 Chevy shortbed, fleetside, big window.

I think it'll be the perfect "working" twin to my '66 Suburban show truck (yeah, right)!

Sweet. It's a Custom Cab model to boot. Check that 88-98 Chevy back bumper. What kind of drivetrain?

EDIT: That big block Suburban has to be the coolest.

Well right now it's got an 80 sumpthin 305 with a glide in it, but I really want to do a 6.0/4L80E, I already picked up a tilt column, and an '85 crossmember and suspension to put under it. I think I'm going to sell or trade the 454 and TH400, and do the same 6.0/4L80E in the Sub as well. I want to be able to jump in this thing and go across country if it suits me, and I want to have some resemblance of gas mileage at the same time. I know: you can't have your cake, and eat it too. Well, then what good is cake anyway.

Sweet truck, I like the Fleetsides better than those steps. I have a "project" 66 GMC in my garage. I have a 350/350 in it . the engine is absolutly beautiful but the truck is ugly as hell (priorities first). I like the idea of the 6.0 in it. my wife has one in her 02 denali, great motor. I wonder if I can talk her into swapping engines with me?!? LOL
