Need Help!

okay well i just bought a set of 36" super bright white led strips to install on the cross braces of my bed cover that i bought the other day, i want to wire them up in such a way so that i can push my bed light button and they will come on.. the only problem is i fear that they put the harness above the headliner... has anyone had any experience with finding that harness... if so I'd greatly appreciate your help!

 

i just don't wanna go ripping down my headliner if i can tap into it somewhere near one of the pillars!

 

your help will be greatly appreciated!

i guess i really could pull the dash and tap into the back of the switch as well.. hmm

I would definitely catch the hot out of the switch, then through the firewall, under the cab to the bed. Same route you would have ended up with coming from the bed light fixture anyway without all the headliner work.

thanks! i was thinking afterwords that it was kinda dumb to wanna run it through the headliner.. dont know what i was thinking
