Yea, if it has a Headphone or Line Out jack, you can use it.

It is about the biggest advancement in factory audio history....I loved it when I had the NBS rented while the truck was in the shop. I almost traded the 03 in just for that feature.

I'm not trying to bash you, but I hate it when automakers and buyers get hung up on trivial things like that. I remember that Toyota Yaris commercial from not to long ago, basically it only pointed out the MP3 input jack. Wow. Big f'in deal. It didn't mention anything else about the car. If you really want an auxiliary input so bad, you could just get an aftermarket head unit, not buy a whole new car.

I'm sorry, this isn't a personal attack on you Nytemare. And if you really want an input, I know there is an adapter that can add one to your factory radio.

I think it IS the little things that do count.

Not to ruffle anyone's feathers here but the main reason I did not purchase a Ford was that GMC/Chevrolet has satellite radio standard on the model I needed/wanted. Not a big deal for most city slickers - but where I come from - there ain't no radio stations. And no, I don't want aftermarket with wires all over the place and some 18-80 year old ripping apart my nice new factory dash. Ford offers satellite radio across the board except the XL. Bad marketing decision on Ford's part.

And I do love that temperature thingy on the rearview mirror - although not available on the WT.

No need to appoligize man...we all have our opinions.

I just like the convenience of having everything integrated. If I get the aux input (the one that hooks up to the stock stereo) I have to go cutting holes or have dangling cords under the dash. I like a clean stock look, and having something I want built-in already cleans everything up. I like the NBS trucks for more than the aux jack, but I have 4 more years of payments..maybe 2 if I get an Afghanistan tour, than I'll upgrade.

I also don't like putting a 1-din stereo in a place where a 1.5 din is now..I hate having that stupid pocket, or gaps all around the stereo...plus I cant find anything to match with the stock trim color, or lighting scheme. I'll probably just end up drilling a hole in one of the blanking plates where the airbag switch is and placing an input jack there when I get the aux input.

I would never just go buy a vehicle for just the iPod input...but its one of those things that pushes you over the top when your already close.

so where can you get the cables to hook stuff up like your ipod and gps....0h and will the gps play through the speakers in the stereo?

Radio Shack, Best Buy, Walmart just about any electronic dept. It's just a 1/8" stereo male/male jumper. Some MP3s need the micro-size on the MP3 end.

Call me stupid if you want. Do some of the stock radios have an aux jack on the back of the unit?

mine does not have one on the front. How do you tell if it does have one without pulling the radio out of the dash? Or, how do you pull the radio?
