It's Offical, George Bush Hates The Middle Class

I voted for him, and I've been regretting it a little more ever since this last election. He gets more and more liberal every days, and his lies keep growing.

What straw broke the camel's back, you ask?

I get a tax update from H&R block, which prompted some research on the AMT(alternative minimum tax). He's been mad at the Dem for quite a while because he knows they won't extend his tax cuts. I can go with that. What I CAN'T dig is the fact is to get back at them, he is vetoing the new AMT reform. The AMT was made in 1969 to make sure the wealthy get taxed. The issue is it was never adjusted for inflation or tax cuts. The IRS itself said that this tax will be a huge burden on the middle class, for the most part starting now.

Go figure, the Democrats actually start a bill that will help out the majority on the tax front(I know, they'll come back and stab us in the back on the same subject if we vote them in).

Bush was so good the first term. Pretty honest and everything.....WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED? For being such a cowboy he's not acting too neighborly.

Leaving the political side out of this... I have been really disappointed in his performance and his lack of leadership. He was a pretty darn good Governor here in Texas... got along with most everybody... even did a little good.

Iraq is a quagmire that nobody is going to come out of looking good regardless of what party they are with. I have a Son in Law that was in the Air Force in Germany that is over serving in Iraq for 4 months for whatever reason. I still can't figure out that whole "Middle East Police" thing...

ANYWAY. We won't have GW in there after this coming November. Not sure I have much confidence in what I have to pick from though.

I'll stop while I am still within forum rules here.

Iraq was a mistake from the beginning, occupying a place like that could be listed as one of the dumbest things a person could wish to do. I'm in the Army reserves and had the pleasure so no one flame me  As for Bush? Can't say how I feel about him without getting this locked

Jim I don't know who I'm going to vote for either. That Ron Paul guy seemed great, but I don't think he's around anymore.

Folks, There's not a whole lotta good thats gonna come from this. We have a bit of a lee-way on scantly clad models, and off color jokes. But there's no gray area when it comes to politics or religion. So This thread is done.
