Wiring Harness Pre-wired For Xm Module?

Does anyone here know if the wiring harness in a 2003 Silverado is pre-wired for the XM module? Basically is there more than one harness

for a 2003 Siverado or do all trim levels use the same wiring harness. Any info is much appreciated.

I believe it is, or as least is a avalanche, if you have a bose system. It's installed like a add on module

it is, just make sure that all of the ends match up. I had this problem with my truck until I got an adapter.....

Are all 03 and up GM vehicles that have the XM option prewired for XM?

no, they do not come 'prewired' only if you get it from the factory or if you have the dealership install it........

I guess a better way to ask that question is to ask if the radio would recognize and "talk to" a XM tuner.
