285/75/18 Toyos / Nbs 07

Does anyone know if the 285/75/18 Toyo Open Country A/T's will clear ( using factory wheels ) ? The specs on these tires are 34.8" tall & 11.2" wide. I currently have the original 265/65's with a Daystar 2" leveling kit.

No, you can't clear a 35" tire with a 2" lvling kit. you could probably pull off a 285/65/R18

I have 285/60R18's on my truck. There is a little rub when I am backing up with the wheels cut. I don't have a leveling kit either.

The instructions with the Daystar kit said that a 285/70 would work. They must have meant a 285/70/17 because I haven't been able to find a 285/70 in an 18" wheel size. The Tundras will clear this 285/75/18 with a 2" level kit but they have a " rounder " wheel opening.

They refer to a 285/70/17 which is a 33" tall tire by 11.50" wide. I've heard you can run a 33x12.50 if you do some trimming with the 2" kit.
