Anyone Considering Hid?

For anyone considering installing HID lights on their truck, they are well worth the money and effort. Chevy just makes it so hard to remove headlights. I bought mine from Autoluminate on Ebay. The auction price is 24.99 & 49.99 for shipping. The final price is 79.98 with the $5 insurance. They are Xentec brand and carry a 2year warranty. Any auction is good to buy no matter the title you just fill in the questions at the end of the auctions. If anyone needs help ordering just pm me

hey punmax, how is your beam pattern, did you do any actual headlight adjustments?

Well the beam pattern is a not quite as perfectly flat but still is darn flat with a little rising on the left. I will upload pictures shining on a wall. The only adjustment was after reinstalling, I was able to lift the beam 3 inches and still be legal. Its extremely easy to self adjust the beam.

This pricing is just for a bulb replacement right? Are most folks just replacing the bulbs or doing the whole kit?

You can't just replace the bulbs, HID lights run on 12000 volts and require a ballast. The price earlier includes bulbs and ballast. Every thing you need to install is included. This is well worth the price. The only other option is to retrofit which can run a price tag upto 450 since it is a custom job. So the kit is all you really need.
