Remote Engine Starter Added

I bought a 2006 GMC Sierra K1500 SLT. Does anyone know if the factory remote starter can be added on to the truck?

As an added note.

 

I picked up a good low mileage used car but 10 years old.

 

This car did have an aftermarket alarm at some point and did have remote start added at one time.

 

Both were disconnected/removed before I got this vehicle.

 

Certainly, all has to do with quality the product and the quality of the installer.

Just go with a trusted aftermarket system, and installer. I have had an astro start in my last two vehicles and they have been nothing but reliable. Ask around, and you will not be dissapoined.
