Its what I have on my truck and I would do it again, but you won't be seeing any incredible gains in either power or mpg, but it will SOUND much better.

Ive got a Magnaflow on my Sierra, and althpugh i didnt notice any increases, I wasnt looking for any.

 

Actually Im sure my gas mileage is worse because of my need to hear the engine.

But yes, it was a big improvement in sound. Even though its not extremely loud.

 

I got the 18" or 20" one and it is MUCH smaller than the stock muffler which looked like a barrel.

And they are stainless so they will always clean up good.

Well if you drive the same or easier, it should increase.

 

I only had my truck about 2 months before I got my Magnaflow so I dont exactly remember what the specs were before i got it.

Might have a little more 30-70 mph pulling power.

I think that when people buy exhausts for their trucks, they tend to punch it more because they want to hear the sound, thus decreasing MPG.

I have the magnaflow single side exhaust version-15618. Can't really tell if power increased but mileage did if I keep my foot out of it! Was getting close to 20mpg over the summer. Sounds awesome except around 1500-1800 RPM. Get a loud drone that I could do without:(
