Reformed Lurker, Now Newb...

Been lurking around here, it seems forever, but finally logged in and now having another password to remember.

 

My ride:

 

Owner of 2001 GMC Sierra 4x4 Z71 ext. cab

Bought my truck new in 2001

Just had 45k service done

Good:

Easy to customize. Lots of companies making tons of stuff.

Had the best int./ext. look IMO of all the GMC's to date

Only 1 recall: Tailgate cables. Upgraded to Pop-n- Lock assists anyway

Bad:

Bad A/C Delco batteries. Replaced 2 within first 2 yrs

Thin paint. Seems to chip even under the lightest of taps

Thin metal. Same reason as the paint.

Tires ran out at 30k miles

Speakers went after 3yrs (paper cones)

CD player died after 5 yrs

I'm going back to lurking I guess. Seems to be more indifference and exclusionary to me and others rather than the other way around. I was going to post some pics of my truck photo shoot for the garage thread, but whats the use.

It will get about as much feedback as my Boyd Coddington thread.
