Front Valance. To Replace Or Not Replace?

So here is the photo of the front of my truck back in the day. Where I have it circle the valance is hanging down cause the wholes that were once in tact are no linger there. I have put larger washers to try and hold it up but it doesnt last very long. Does anyone have a photo of there truck with the valance removed? I mean if not I could always take it off to check it out.

Also I am thinking about designing my own hitch mount for winch. ect. The way that I am going to mount it the valance will not be in the way. So I guess it wont matter if I replace it or not...

Take it off! It might look a little funny with the tow hooks though... Still worth a shot.

I wouldn't take it off. Make that one work or buy a new one.

Did you have tow and you removed them? Cause I think that your truck looks good without that front valance! Did you remove the original or did you buy your truck that way?

Yeah I could always buy another one if I didnt like the way it looked. Wish there was something after market that would be more durable.

Did you have tow hooks or fog lights where your brush guard mounts? I really like the way that the valance leers the shape of the front bumper on your truck!

i took mine off, but yours is a little more stock and would be nicer if you just replace it. as far as im concerned i wont be replacing mine unless i get it for free

Yeah I think that I might take it off and we will see what it looks like after I customize the hitch receiver for the winch mount.

Thanks! My truck didn't come with tow hooks. I bought the truck with the valance and kept it until I took the truck to my deer lease. It got so crunched up, I just took it off. Looks better anyways, IMO.

My truck doesn't have fogs. The brushguard mounts are right there next to my tow hooks. My tows are still usable with the brushguard. I have my wheels and brushguard and taillight guards off right now and I have people always ask me.."what are those things by your tow hooks?"
