Line-x is so much money any other opions that are good, i don't want some spray in that will peel? How much does the prices range from?

My Rhino liner was about $430, about $100 or so cheaper and its just as tough.

it all depends on the market in your area ... in my area ... a line-x one is around 500 ... or there is another company that uses the same chemicals as line-x and they do theirs for around 400

 

it is worth spending an extra 100 or so to get the good stuff ... instead of having to pay even more ... later .. to get the junk stripped off .. and redone.

Just called a local line-x, they are running a special til the end of the month , 459, short bed under rail, sounds like a good deal to me!!

Get over the rail...or get rail caps, I think they look better like that. I got mine through a local guy who has huge contracts with dealerships and the local Air Force Base. Got lifetime guarantee and have beat the hell out of mine, best investment for a truck.

My last three trucks had Rhino Liner and my SD has Line-X. I would do Line-X again even if Rhino Liner was half the price.

I don't know if this is old news, but I just ran across the link in the DuPont website portal and thought it was relevant to the thread. Line-X has an "XTRA" version that can be made to the color of your vehicle and is more durable than the original, due to the fact that they've added Kevlar to the mix. If this has been mentioned before, I apologize.

There is an internal, non-consumer file on this Line-X XTRA product, but the link doesn't work because you have to be logged-in to the DuPont portal for it to open. It's full of technical mumbo-jumbo, so it probably won't help you, anyways. Either way, if anyone's interested in something more specific than what's listed in the consumer link, I can try to find out more for you, if it happens to be listed.

OK I just did this 48 hours ago - I got my Linex Dupont Kevlar liner in- The Kevlar will keep nice and shiney and new looking plus I got a good deal on it and the Kevlar just looked sharp! ...

 

How I got my deal (615.00) I called all the Linex places in FL and just kept pitting them against eachother - I called all the way to Jacksonville and got a low price - called the local place and said he I have family in jJacksonville I can go see my family and get my liner done there with no problem... what will you do if I come see you? and after about 5 calls between some dealers I got me deal which started out at 754.00... LineX all the way!! Bed rails will be ordered soon as well ( 1000.00 in goodies before the first payment :D )

I want a Line-X ASAP so I called the LineX places and they will do it for $525 so I called Rhino and they'll do it for $400!!

 

This is all over the lip. But I've heard more people bragging on LineX. Also, I've seen a lot of people talking about coupons that Rhino offer but I havn't found squat for LineX.

 

Well, I suppose a little more saving and I'll have it.

I have Rhino over the rail on black nbs silverado. If you want I can try to get a picture(Its really dirty at the moment)

      My brother has an Escalade. The warranty has expired so he told his wife to go to the Valvoline quick lube he uses some times. They told her if her car was a 2020 and newer 6.2 engine they wouldn’t touch it. Hers is a 2019, so they did the oil change.

      The oil filter has NOTHING To do with oil leak. GM sources parts from 1,000's of vendors and as with anything mass produced, flaws are unavoidable.    Putting a larger oil filter will do nothing but satisfy emotions. The OEM filter is designed for the engine and perfectly capable of handling the demands on the engine. Oversize oil filter could result in reduced flow and overall lower oil pressure.

      You're better read than that Atlas. 😏   British science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke formulated three adages that are known as Clarke's three laws, of which the third law – that "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" – is the best known and most widely cited.   Stribeck and the pivotable Hersey Number isn't voodoo nor snake oil. That part is physics. It's what marketing and bean counters do with it that is snake oil and voodoo.    Stribeck is the relationship between Hersey and the Coefficient of Friction. Within the Hersey Equation if viscosity and viscosity is 'Dependent' on.......heat.......and.......viscosity index or the temperature to viscosity slope.    Specifically Hersey is the viscosity AT THE TEMPERATURE IN THAT LOCATION FOR THAT SLOPE.   Hydrodynamic lubrication exist when the film thickness in the location is 3X the Ra roughness of the surface. This is irrespective of the hardness of the substrate. To obtain that thickness X viscosity is required for Y velocity at Z load. That's a lot of moving parts. It is also impossible to maintain in an ICE but nearly possible with a turbine under constant load.    What does that mean? Error heavy and operate light. Wear is inevitable but the rate of wear and the milage obtainable are a function of prevailing conditions and HABITS. The only penalty is viscous drag and at fractions so low as to be well worth the effort. Double the life, half the manufacturing carbon foot print. Greed is the only impediment.    The materials generated by SwRI are the RESULT not an estimation or a hypothesis.    Don't delude yourself sir, EV's have as many pitfalls as ICE's. We just don't know what they are yet and it will take longer to sort as MARKETING and GREEDY CEO's have had more time to polish the turd they are selling.

      You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.
