Whats on the cig lighter circuit?? (2003 silverado) If I put a 15A fuse in.. it just pops..

I looked for shorts, disconnected the lighter.. No luck yet...

Dude....come on.....what was the problem?.....my 2000 cig lighter is doing the exact same thing.....push the lighter in and it pops the fuse.....my aux plugs are fine though.

Depends on your options, Lighter and DLC on all, some also run the aux power outlets on it some run some aux outlets on an aux fuse along with some on lighter fuse. I can narrow it down with your vin.

Well now I'm curious. What was it? Bad plug that you sticking into it? Was the positive tab touching the negative tab when force was pushed down on it?
