New-b. Tires/wheels Combination With 6" Lift

Ok, I am sure this has been discussed a lot. however i am new and searched and wasn't able to pin-point an answer. I have a stock 2000 silverado. I am looking to lift it (6" lift, possibly superlift). Here are my questions/concerns:

 

1. maximum tire size is probably 35x12.50 (or similar 315x75x16)

2. I would like 17"-18" rims., However superlift recommends only a 8" wide wheel with like 4.625" backspacing.

3. I am looking at the 16" motto wheel which only has 4.5" backspacing (8" wide)...will that fit?

4. If I had a 17" or 18" that is 9" wide will that matter?

5. Is there any other things I should know that I haven't considered?

Yeah 35's are probably your best choice to avoid any rubbing.

Either wheel, 8 or 9" will work as long as it has at least a -6 offset.(for 6" lift that is)

I would look into a BDS 6" lift, they install much easier then others ( less cutting/modifiying of existing parts on your truck) and they also warrenty there product no matter how your using it, if the lift is just for show then you probably won't have to worry about it, but if you do lots of off roading this can be good cause things break.

is there a lot of wheels with -6 offset? Where is the best place/prices for wheels? I want a nice chrome wheel...
