Had Front Seal On Trans Replaced

Hello there. I have a 2007 GMC Yukon, 5.3L. At the 1st oil change I noticed some transmission oil was leaking. Took it in and the dealer replaced the front seal on the transmission.

The problem I have now is a clunking noise. For example, after releasing the brakes from a stop (not intially when starting out - you have to be driving), the rear suspension or driveshaft makes a clunk noise. It is as if the suspension is loaded and is then released by taking your foot off the brakes. The dealer looked up some tech bulletins and there is a new yoke that was used for some older models that addressed this but that seems unlikely to me since this was not doing this before the trans removal. I'm concerned they installed it wrong and something is binding.

Any advice out there?

Thanks,

Bill
