What Is Nbs?

Sorry I'm new here. What does it stand for?

NBS = New Body Style. These are the GMT900 trucks that GM produces, from model year 2007 and up (excluding the 2007 "Classic" trucks).

OBS = Old Body Style 88-98

NBS = New Body Style 99-07.5

NNBS = New New Body Style - Current Body Style

haha so we've offically gone to NNBS??

 

my vote is for using the GM terminology. Therefore my 88-98 is a GMT-400, then comes GMT-800 and now our current trucks are GMT-900.

LOL yea, the NBS trucks are still fairly new, but in time they will be known as OBS and the GMT-400 will be classics

Haha BOOBS is good. I don't like "NNBS" at all. NBS and OBS is fine, but I'd love if we could get everyone to use the GM platform codes such as GMT800 and GMT900. It's been suggested before, but the naysayers insist that it would be too confusing for newbies. Honestly though, I think anyone would figure it out after perusing the forum for 15 minutes or so, and in the end it would be better for everyone.
