1993 Jimmy Starting Troubles

My 1993 GMC Jimmy 4 Dr SLT 4X4 is having trouble starting, it acts like the battery is dead but if I turn the wheel really hard after the third key turn or so it wil start, I really would like to know what it could be someone please help me I am a single mom and cannot afford the $60 for the GMC shop just to "look" at it

I'm not understanding what you mean by "turning the wheel" but from what you are saying, your problem might well be aging battery cables or even a starter that is going away. Perhaps with a little more elaborate description one of us can help. Give us some more details and we will try.

When you try to start it does it make any noise. Like one single click or click,click,click,.....

 

Do you notice anything not coming on when you turn the key to the on position?
