All Jacked Up!

There are tons of floor jacks out there, but what are the best ones for lifting trucks for simple tire rotations? I read several reviews on several jacks and many tend to leak oil or worse, start to come down after raised. Eliminating several can be easier because it's for a pickup, so it needs to raise a little higher and hold a little more weight, especially with 4x4's.

Whats the scoop?

The best floor jacks IMO and many auto shops are Hein Werner (yellow & blue) they are pricey though and a 3 ton professional model will run you around $399.00 with a 4"-23" lift height. I also have 2 craftsman floor jacks one, an aluminum racing jack for my vette with a very low minimum height that works excellent and a 4 ton craftsman professional that has served me well. It's odd though, if you go to sears website they will all have a 1 out of 5 rating but I have had zero trouble with the both of them. I've also heard MAC tools makes a pretty good jack and if I get another it will be a MAC. You'll also need 4 jack stands to get your truck completely in the air unless your rotating directional tires.
