S-15 Need Advice

I am going to be buying an 83 S-15 in the next few days. I go for a test drive tomorrow, but from what I understand almost all of the lights dont work, does anybody know why this may be? The seller said it could be a wiring harness, and that he found one on jcwhitney, but I cannot find the part. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't consider buying a truck with a known problem like the electrical system. It could be a simple fix, or it could cost far more than the truck is worth. If you are dying to own that truck, ask to have a shop inspect it so you have an idea what you are getting involved with.

My advice would be to save your money and look around a little more. A perfect '83 couldn't be worth too much. I just sold a perfect '91 S-10 for $2000.00. Wait and find a good one, or you will regrete it..
