I Need New Tires

I need new tires for my 04 Sierra 2wd ext. cab. I'm running p265/75/16 on it now. I want to keep the same size. I have the Toyo Open Country on as of now. The tread really wore down on my tow from San Francisco to Dallas. I liked the Toyo's, but I was a bit disappointed with the tread wear. I only got about 25000 miles on these suckers and I have some good balding on three tieres as of now.

I won't be doing much more towing.

I mainly do Highway/city driving.

Once in a blue moon will the tires see some trail (nothing heavy or demanding)

I want an aggresive looking tire, but not something that is really noisy on the road.

Iwant something that will last and stay on the road for a good 40-50K or so.

Don't know what else to say. Please help. I really need it. :rollin:

The Discount tire company is nearby. I was thinking of going there.

i put bridgestone dueler AT Revo's on about 6 mos ago and couldnt be happier, they are wearing like like iron, and the road noise is considerably less than similar AT tires....just my .02 though

I'll be replacing my tires in the spring, and I'm planning on going with the Revos as well.

The Revo is a great tire no doubt. You owe it to yourself to check out the Firestone Destination AT. I have a set on my Dad's Suburban and a set on my Jeep. They work great, ride fantastic, cost less, and wear like iron. They are made by the same company as the Revos... Bridgestone-Firestone. Don't confuse these Firestones with the old company... nothing like the old ones here.

Go look at Tirerack.com. You can buy them for a lot less and UPS delivers them in a day or two. 265-75-16 $109.00 each. I couldn't be happier with mine.

BF Goodrich All terrain TA/KO. aggressive tread and will last you a long time. My 05 H2 came stock with them and when I turned it in with 55,000 on it they still had about 25-30K left on them.

If you want to spend the money get Michelin LTX M/S. I beat the crap out of mine and they ride great, quiet, and take abuse well.

I second the the BFGoodrich All-Terrains. A tad more expensive up front, but seem to last forever. I had then on my 99 Dodge Dakota 2wd and not only did they look great, they were awesome in the winter

If you are willing to pay the price the BFGs are excellent... they ride a little stiffer.
