Fshnrig Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 In researching the All-Terrain package for the GMC Sierra, I have read that you cant get the power sunroof/moonroof with it. Can anyone confirm one way or the other? Thanks!
matello Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 so did you get sold on the all-terrain package? (just curious)
cc1999 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 There was some thread a while back about this. I think there was even a guy that had a new AT with the sunroof. I think from what I read it is available.

Fshnrig Posted February 8, 2008 Author Posted February 8, 2008 so did you get sold on the all-terrain package? (just curious) Yes. If I decide to go with a gm product (a first for me), the one that I like the best is the Sierra with the AT package. Its a nice truck. Right now Id have to rate the interiors ( on the Sierra and Silverado)the best out of all the full size trucks out there. Ive seen pics of the new dodges coming out and the interiors look really nice as well, but its still a chrysler product and Im not a fan. Id really like to see GM come out with a 6spd auto for the 1500, 5.3 and 6.0, that would probably really sway me GM's way.

I have an 08 All Terrain and it's an awesome vehicle - no sqeaks, rattles, noises. No problems so far and excellent build quality. I'd have to rate the new Chevy/GMC trucks as the best out there. You'll love the GMC if you buy it.

Depends on the model your getting,Crew-Cab or Extended-Cab,Heres a message we got from GM in Dealerworld.... "SIERRA ALL TERRAIN with SUNROOF OPTION COMPATIBILITY CLARIFICATION.........Sierra All Terrain Crew Cabs can be ordered with CF5 Sunroof. A systems error recently issued rejection messages for this combination. VOMS and Order Workbench (Quick Order Feature) now allow this content to be ordered again (effective 11/7/07). Workbench Configurator and external systems will be corrected as soon as possible. Note that Sunroof is NOT compatible with Extended Cab All Terrain models. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused." So if your getting a crew-cab your alright,But if your getting an extended-cab your SOL!

With the chrome wheels and grill and the color coded (Red) bug deflector its a sharp package. I know the owner of my dealership pretty well and he said in all seriousness its the sharpest NBS truck he's sold. In the past I've generally picked more conservative color combos (Indigo Blue/Pewter two tone, Silver Birch, Silver Birch) but I'm glad I did the red this time. If I knew how to post a pic I would.
Kanima Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Yep crew cabs only, I had the option when I ordered mine but passed on it... Just like the split rear window. Always looked at them like something futher down the line that will either leak, break or make more wind noise.
