Airbags?

What are the airbags for? Can I take air out and level it out or make it higher? Also noticed two valve stems in the back.

from what ive learned

 

you can buy air bags to lift your truck up to 12 inches

 

your just at some huge bags and a really beefy compressor

 

yes you can drive lifted or at stock height thats whats so great about them

 

only things when your lifted

your truck isn't as stable and you'll feel the body moving side to side

 

if you tow things like a fith wheel or somthing you can buy rear leaving bags

 

when you have a heavy load you add air to raise the backs leaf springs to a safer or hgiher ride height

I have stock airbags though :S

I am definetly not the smartest person in this fourm, but I am pretty sure your truck does not come with stock airbags. Unless of course you are talking about the driver and passenger airbags?

I have been looking around, perhaps it is part of the MAX towing package ??...one of the MAX owners will have to answer this one

Airbags are a purely aftermarket item, unless you're taking about the ones that blow up in your face when you hit something...
