Rpo Code For Vmax Engine

I was looking at the RPO code list in the glove box today and noticed that I have L76, but no LY6, which I thought was the RPO code for the 376 hp Vmax engine. Does L76 also denote this engine configuratoin in a Vmax truck? I thought L76 was the code for the 6.0L in the 2500. Anybody know if there is a difference in engine configuration between L76 and LY6?

according to Chevy.com

 

Rpo for Vortec Max(aluminum block and heads) is L76 and the iron block aluminum head 6.0L for the HD is LY6

It should be the L76.

Thanks. I guess I got the codes backwards. Had me a little freaked out for a second that they stuck the lower hp engine in my truck. Too much stress at work today, I guess!
