Yukon Denali Leak

I have a small leak that I've recently noticed on my Yukon Denali. It seems to be dripping off where the drive shaft goes into the transfer case. It's not Oil, and I don't think it's tranny fluid. Any ideas? It's only got 34k on it. I don't have bumper to bumper but I do have powertrain. Would this be covered under Powertrain? I'm also a fraid that this might be the source of the whine I hear. The dealer back 7 mo. ago, replaced the power steering but ever since I still notice a slight whine.

Pictures would help but engine trans transfer case and drive shaft are all powertrain.

Depending on what year you have that tcase should take DexIII ATF. Mine is an 06 with the Borg Warner tcase. It should be covered under the factory 3year/36000 mile warranty. Better get it back in to the dealer soon. If you bought it used and are past 36 months it should be covered by your powertrain warranty.
