New Borla Cat Back System

Hey there guys happy V-Day. OK I am looking at buying a Borla cat back system not because I want to buy because I have too. I went out and bought a Magnaflow muffler and just slapped it on my truck like a dumb sh** and now it sounds like sh** lesson learned. I had a borla cat-back on my 01 Tahoe. It sounded GREAT when you got on it. It was a little loud idling through the neighborhood at night. My only complaint was in my Tahoe is had some resonance on the highway. I think it is more because I have a tuned box for a vehicle and it tends to amplify the noise. Not sure if you would experience that in a pickup. I did some soundproofing inside and it cured the problem.

 

Having said all that, I will probably go Corsa on my new ride as I have heard nothing but good about their systems and they are known for no drone!

No,Just recommending one.

I've had CORSA's on my last three trucks and love'em,No drone or resonance at all!

Yea,The CORSA's aren't cheap but there worth every penny,and remember....you get what you pay for.

Yea but between the 2 there is not a lot of difference at least not a $350.00 difference.

Read down and you will see some eBay dealers listed that have a low price on the 14269 and 14259 Corsa systems. This puts the Corsa in the same ballpark as the Borla.

I had a Borla system many years ago. Corsa is the only way to go. I have had 5 of them thru the years. Trust me; you get what you pay for.

OK I think I see where I am lousing some of ya it is not a new system it is used 6mo old. I am only $250.00 for it. I under stand that Corsa is a great exhaust but as I said I am doing it not because I have all this $$$ sitting around to buy another exhaust but because I need.

For that price difference I would be all over the Borla IMO.
