Whats the offset for the OEM GMT900 18" Z71 wheels?

 

Im trying to select some new wheels and I need to factor in the offset before I decide.

Thanks, I swear I read 27mm before. I know the 20's are like 30mm -32mm

I believe that DV2000NJ is referring to backspacing or the distance between the plane of the outermost point on the back flange and the back of the wheel hub that bolts to the spindle or drum. This measurement is most often referenced by AM wheel mfgrs. in inches.

 

Offset, is the distance generally expressed in millimeters, that represents the distance that the back mating surface of the wheel's hub deviates from the exact face to back center. "+" positive offset denotes that point is closer to the face of the wheel, "-" or reverse offset for closer to the back of the wheel.

 

A +30mm offset means the wheel will set in a little over an inch from the center line of the wheel width, without regard to the wheel's overall width. 4.5" backspace on a wheel that had an overall width of 9" would be a neutral offset. If the wheel were 8" in overall width a 4.5" backspace would be 1/2" positive offset or about 13mm.

My aftermarket wheels are +18mm offset and they don't stick out, hope this helps!!

My 20x9s are +30 and they fit flush. I believe the factory wheels are about +25. Keep in mind the width of the wheel is everything. The backspacing is measured from the center.
