Ez Lift Tailgate

2008 Silverado 1500 LT2 Z71 crew cab.......

My window sticker says I payed $95 for a EZ Lift tailgate. I can't tell a diffrence between mine and my friends LS with out it. Am I missing something?

do not freak please when I say you missed the location of your owners manual ,or better yet your salesman going over your vehs features with you .

Yeah, $95!

 

Just kiddin'. The $95 buys you a locking tailgate (about $50 of the option) as well as the torsion bar assist. I find a slight lift advantage but the most notable difference is lifting easily from the corners one handed and easily closing the gate.
