Sustained a little bruise...

What's the best thing to do... "ding doctor" / "body shop" / "Touch up Paint" ?????

:lol::crackup::D ?

A ding guy and touch up paint is the best idea. Then, depending on how it looks either get a bug shield or use the 3m protective film. Bug shield if the spot is still really noticeable (it should hide it) or 3m film if the spot turned out well. Good luck!

Thanks for the input....

My dealer uses a ding guy they are very happy with. I'll give him a shout...

I'm surprised I didn't HEAR that, or remember hearing that. Must've been a pretty good clunk. Asleep at the wheel I guess.

Hard to keep this beast under 80mph.

Get a bugflector - it'll break before the rocks hit your hood. 3M film keeps the sandy bits off, but not the larger rocks that would cause something like that. You might also want to invest in a grille insert. Much cheaper than a radiator.

Thanks - see what a similar rock did to my bugflector recently.... And I had a holed radiator quite some time ago on a previous truck and since then have used inserts. I'm kind of partial to the ones that kind of look like mesh on the NBS trucks. Billet grille would also help but inserts are cheaper.
