'07 Z-71 Leveled; Need Rims/tires!

What up everyone! So I bought my nbs z-71 silverado crew about 8 months ago and i absolutely LOVE IT. Don't know how I ever drove cars... Anyway, I've done just about everything I want to on the inside (Navi & DVD, 2 10's), but now its time to do something about the outside. My 2'' leveling kit will be here soon and i want to put on new wheels/tires with it. I've been leaning towards 20's, probably XD Hoss's. They are 20x9.

So here are my questions:

1. is a 9'' rim width an acceptable amount? I've seen everything from 8.5 to 11, but which is right for my truck? Will 9 rub?

2. Assuming I go with a 20x9 rim, whats the biggest tire i could fit? Would a 275/65/20 clear everything ok?

3. What's the maximum negative offset I could fit? I like the deep lip look a lot, and the HD Hoss's can come with a -12 or +18 offset. Would there be any issues with the -12?

Sorry if I wasn't clear with any of my questions. I have absolutely NO experience when it comes to wheel/tire sizing! I appreciate any help you all can provide!

ON my truck I have 285/70/17 tires with 17x9 wheels. For the backspacing and other wheel specs contact your local tire shop and they should be able to tell you if certain wheels work. AS FOR the tire size you need to go with a 275/55/20 if you want 20x9 instead of say 20x8. because with the 285/70/17's on my truck i had to do some modification to the wheel well to make them fit due to the wider wheel (9 in wide). I am happy with it, but that all depends on how YOU stand with customizing a little bit.but the 275/55/20 should clear pretty well with the 20x9 rim without modification. but like i said, call your tire shop and they will tell you if those wheels work. GOOD LUCK!!

Hey man I have 20x9 wheels with a 2.5 inch leveling kit right now and they don't rub at all. Not even on sharp turns. I have 275/55/20 tires btw. You'll be fine with that setup.
