Edelbrock Shocks

I have a 2001 sierra c3. It is AWD and lowered 3.5/5 inches, with spindles in the front and the torsions wound down. The back has hangers and shackles and I have removed the 2 inch factory block.

I'm looking at getting the Edelbrock IAS shocks all around, and am wondering if the 2wd ones will be ok for my lowered truck. I think the 2wd 2/4 drop shocks they offter will be to short for my truck, as the AWD's come 1.5 inches higher than a 2wd in the front and 2 inches in the rear. I may need to add shock extenders in the rear to accomodate for the extra inch or so.

The front spindles should not effect the shock length, but winding the torsions will, correct?

Will the 2wd regular shock fit my truck?

The part numbers for the 2wd shocks are 33010 front and 34010 rear.

Also, does anyone have a set of these installed in their truck? If so what are they like?

Can a better shock be recomended for my aplication?

Thanks for your time,

-Rob
