Anyone Seen A Hood Protector Mounted On Gmt900

I'm thinking about getting one of these in Red or Chrome. Anyone ever seen one mounted, how did it look?

I like that, how easy was it to mount? Is it solid. I like that a lot.

I didn't mount it, I had the dealer mount it pre-delivery (I factory ordered my truck).

I'm not a fan unless they are the chrome, the smoked just doesn't do that big front end justice. VMax's looks nice, but swing by your dealer and see if they have one that you can hold up to your truck and make your decision.

 

On the Chevy's I don't know...I have yet to see one with it on it...seems like the only Silverado's around here are RCLB W/T's.....

Skip the Chrome fender trim. It's tacky IMO. I wish they would still trim the fenders like they did on the GMT400's.

They are cheaper in color match fire red and they look nice also. I want to protect the paint but it's also nice to show off the truck too.

I agree with that statement on the fender trim. I wished they would put the rear liners in trucks like they used too as well.

So it's sounding like nobody likes the fender trim, how about the wind deflectors in chrome. I think the in channel would be more secure, I'm not too excited about glueing them to the paint really.

Chrome is nice, in moderation. Too much and your truck will look like a Lund Catalog model.

Yeah, I pretty much looking for that last piece actually. I have the bed rails, nerf bars, chrome handles ordered but I'm thinking it needs something else, but I don't know what. I like the mirror covers but I'm thinking if the bottom were chrome and the tops were fire red that would really set it off also. I'v been looking, the mirror halves are easy to find but the painted tops are impossible to find.
