Z71-K9 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I have a 07 NNBS Silverado with the charcoal cloth interior. I cant get the seats clean. The cloth holds hair, fuzz, and everything. I have Sears most powerful shop vac and it doesnt remove the dirt. I tried lint roller and doesnt lift it. I have to take the lint roller paper off and "wipe" the seats. Anyone have any ideas?
99silveradoz71 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 This has been thoroughly discussed in another thread, though I can share your pain. It'd been a while since I did the interior in my 08 and the way the seats look in this truck with me and only me as the primary user is ridiculous vs. my 99.
dsmazz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 This is why I've ordered Katzkins for mine. I'm sick and tired of the lint issue.
Z71-K9 Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Which thread? I tried searching but I couldnt find anything. Maybe Im using the wrong keywords.

dannynoonan Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 There is one car wash in town that has a painful amount of suction coming out of the hose. It also has a chisel tip. I did it on saturday. Took about an hour to get the majority and then another 20 minutes to get the rest off with a lint roller. They already look horrible. GM has had their engineers working on it for six months. Still no expected date or even a commitment to fix them. Call GMC and complain. Get a complaint number. They start with 71- XXXXXX. Then call every week and check status. The more traffic the better.
jamison74 Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 ya a real pain, mines covered in dog hair and i dont even own a damn dog!
dannynoonan Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Select cloth seats have been deleted for 2009. Maybe a fix someday?
BowTieDude Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 My wife and her sweaters are the worst.... This is the reason we always ride nude. No lint to worry about, seat belts can chafe just a bit though. This reminds me, I really need to get the windows tinted... JK
cerbomark Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 try one of those rubber surgical gloves we all use for oil changes etc.. wet it a little and wipe all the lint into a ball and remove.
