Fender Trim

I was looking into purchasing some chrome fender trim for my 02 Sierra because they are cheaper then fender flares themselves, anyone care to chime in on whether I should or shouldn't get them, I was looking at Putco's version of the fender trim but not sure if that's the best or what. Any suggestions appreciated.

No experience on Putco. I put TFP on mine. Looks like GM did it. A couple of pics in my garage link below.
